Corniche Area

The Corniche Area is one of the most well‑known waterfront areas in Abu Dhabi. It runs along Corniche Road, stretching for several kilometres along the northern coastline of Abu Dhabi Island and overlooking the Arabian Gulf.

The area features high‑rise residential buildings, hotels, and offices facing the sea. Many buildings offer views of the waterfront, parks, and the Corniche Beach. Residential options mainly include apartments, with very limited villas in the area.

The Corniche is known for its public beach, landscaped parks, walking and cycling paths, and open recreation spaces. The promenade includes cafés, restaurants, children’s play areas, and dedicated pedestrian and cycling lanes, making it popular for daily outdoor activities.

The Corniche Area is centrally located and close to major landmarks such as Etihad Towers, Emirates Palace, and Marina Mall. It is well connected to nearby areas including Al Khalidiya, Al Bateen, and downtown Abu Dhabi, making it a prime and active part of the city.
